		<description>I don't know anyone that did but check out the overland network there are some old trips on there. I didn't try for kissangani as I was hoping to get the train/boat to Llumbumbashi, but it all fell apart.

I think the DRC (Zaire) is opening up a little bit now, Blood River is a good read and is about someone retracing H M Stanleys trip to Kinshasa from Bukavu and via Kissangani. I have heard rumours of people getting through more recently, Bradt have even published a guide to Congo and DRC (random!)</description>

		<description>hi glad u guys had a hoot we did oban scotland to capetown in 89 through europe algiers mali niger cameroon CAR zaire uganda kenya and on to s. africa still havent meet anyone thts been to kissingani im lokin for any body that did this in 89 /90 at the time it was mostly shit but hey what an adventure  i dont think is now possable well done anyway orra best cruicky</description>
